Events

The treaty of Campo-Formio, located to the west of Udine in north-eastern Italy, was signed between Austria and France. It effectively confirmed and clarified the terms of the preliminary treaty of Leoben signed earlier in April, as well as signifying the failure of the First Coalition against France.
