Louisa Holcroft (née Mercier) married James Kenney, and brought, according to Kenney’s DNB entry, two children of her own and two from Holcroft’s previous marriage. The obituary notices of Holcroft, however, suggest she was left with six children . Kenney’s entry suggests that he and his wife had four further children.
