This entry appears at the end of volume XVIII of the diary and is not in sequence with the end date (14 January 1815). On the 30th December 1816 Godwin’s diary does not record Percy and Mary Shelley's wedding, but there is a note ‘See no XVIII, in fine, pag. ult.’ Which refers back to this entry. That is indeed the date of the wedding, following the suicide of Harriet Shelley, Percy’s first wife.
