An exhibition consisting primarily of Old Masters paintings, with one room devoted to deceased British painters. The exhibition attracted the attention of celebrities including the Duchess of Clarence, the Duchess of Gloucester, the Princess Augusta, the Duchess of Kent, Prince Leopold, Prince Leiningen, the Baroness de Spaedth, and Captain Conroy who were reported to have attended the show the day before Godwin’s visit.
