William Godwin's Diary

Events

This is likely in reference to the exhibition of copies of paintings by Rubens which were housed in the Museum at Antwerp. The copies were executed by R.R. Reinagle, A.R.A. on a large scale (two out of the three were approximately fifteen feet high) and included The Crucifixion of our Saviour, the Adoration of the Magi, and the Entombment. Catalogues which featured the three engravings were available for purchase.
