William Godwin's Diary

Godwin indicated that he and Thomas Hocroft saw 'the pictures at the Adelphi'. This probably refers to the artist James Barry's murals, executed between 1777 and 1784 for the Great Room of the Society of Arts, Manufactures, and Commerce at the Adelphi in London.
