State Paper Office; Cromwel (29  June  1827) Cromwell, Oliver Unable to identify specific materials consulted.
Records in the State Paper Office include papers of the secretaries of state up to 1782, though not all the secretaries deposited their papers. The SPO also collects printed gazettes and pamphlets. WG earlier uses the ‘Order Books [of the council of state], in the State Paper Office' (cited in History of the Commonwealth 6:521). Possibly he consults the Order Books on 1827-06-29 as well.
