Borghesi's ms (4  September  1792) In her annotation to a letter by WG to Alexander Jardine of 25-29 September 1793, Pamela Clemit identifies Borghesi as ‘Antonio D. R. Borghesi, a French composer and musical theorist born in Rome….' The ‘title essay' by Borghesi was included in Jardine's An essay on civil government; or, society restored ( 1793).
